Our website is powered by Autotrader (Web services provider) and are committed to ensuring that data is processed in accordance with the applicable data privacy laws and is kept secure.

Please note that any customer data or information you provide via our website may be used to deal with your enquiry and may be uploaded to our database for accounting procedures but will not be used for marketing purposes.

When you submit information using our website online forms your data will be collected and stored for 30 days for the legitimate business purpose of enabling us to access the information and deal with your request. After the request is dealt with the details will be deleted, if no further business is requested.

Who is responsible for your personal information?

For the purposes of the Data Protection Legislation we are the data controller (No outside third parties) in respect of your personal information that we collect and process, as further described in this privacy policy, we will not share your information with anyone out with Auto Station, unless it relates to the contract we have with yourself or a finance situation, and will do our utmost to keep it safe and secure with our systems up to date, at all times. We may collect and process information about you including your name, address, contact details (including email address and mobile phone number), your vehicle details, purchase history and data collected as part of the finance application or payments (including previous addresses, employment details and bank account details) this information is referred to in this privacy policy as personal information.

Where the contents are personal or otherwise unconnected with the business, Auto Station does not accept responsibility or liability for such content. Whilst all reasonable care has been taken to avoid the transmission of viruses, it is the responsibility of the recipient to ensure the onward transmission, opening or use of messages and any attachments do not adversely affect its systems or data. No responsibility is accepted by Auto Station in this regard and the recipient should carry out virus and other checks as it considers appropriate.

Access to your personal information

The Data Protection Legislation gives you the right to access your personal information. To request access to your personal information, please just contact the office and this information can be supplied to you (we will ask for identification before issuing this information).

You have the right to request that the company delete your personal data. if you would like more information about this please contact our office (this cannot be done if an accounting transaction is in place till the following years accounts are finalised).

Alternative Dispute Resolution:

Any dispute or complaint should be made in writing to the dealer to the head office, as address above, by recorded delivery. If the complaint is made by email you should make sure that you get a reply (this would be done within 48 hours and if a receipt reply is not received the email will not have reached the company. So, we ask that you contact us again).

The complaint will be handled by the partners and replied in writing within 48 hours. If the complaint remains unresolved for more than 28 days you can contact the Financial Conduct Authority, who may be able to help depending on the issue (Ref No is 671801).
